Mission Statement
The Funbotics mission is to introduce robotics and STEM to middle schoolers to prepare them for success in a technology driven world. Targeting communities that are typically underrepresented in STEM, we seek to break down barriers to entry into STEM careers for all.
Through Funbotics programs, we teach students engineering concepts, imagination and teamwork, inspiring them to pursue STEM careers while having fun at the same time.
Milestones @ Funbotics
2020-First Virtual Program in Fall 2020
Revamping our curriculum, we successfully taught 30 students during our virtual program.
2018- Yale Funbotics Chapter Founded
Yale Funbotics has served about 100 children in the past 2 years with in person and virtual sessions.
2016- Funbotics founded
Funbotics began in Northern Virginia as a free summer robotics program, serving over 300 children during the summers of 2016, ‘17, ‘18, and ‘19.
